Description

Kaleidos engineering organization includes three Product teams plus one Platform team. They mainly build image and video background removal and other features like artificial object shadow, while also actively researching the newest technology in the visual AI computing space. The product teams take care of our user-facing products: Remove.bg, Unscreen and Designify, and also actively build features within Canva. Each team is responsible for feature/product delivery end-to-end: through the concept stage, visual design, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and evolution. The Platform team builds and maintains our Visual AI Platform: the collection of infrastructure, tools, and documentation that empowers product teams to own all the stages of the development process. Our Software development process is inspired by Scrum and Agile methodologies. Every team has its product owner, and we also have a dedicated Scrum master. Teams are empowered to iterate and adapt their processes to find the best and most effective way to deliver.
